To install the certificate on an Apple Computer running OS X:
1.From any web browser, go to Download this-this should download the certificate automatically; the file should be in your Downloads folder.
2.Double-click the .zip file; this will automatically extract the .cer file needed for the remainder of this installation. This file should extract to the Downloads folder as well.
3.Double-click the .cer file to start the installation process; your system will display a window as below:
4.Under the block labeled “Keychain:”, pull down the menu and select “System”; then click “Add”:
5.This should install the certificate automatically onto the system.
6.If you use the Firefox browser, there are more steps to install the certificate into that browser specifically. If you do not, then you can stop here.
If you DO use Firefox, please continue with the steps below:
1.Open up Firefox, and open the Preferences window. Select the “Advanced” tab, which looks like the window below:
2.Click on “View Certificates” on the left side, and click the ‘Authorities’ tab:
Click “Import” at the bottom, and find the directory the .cer file is located in (should be the Downloads folder):
3.Click “Open”, and when prompted to trust the new certificate authority, select all options as shown below:
Click OK, and then OK again, and restart the Firefox browser; you should now be able to access Google sites
For Windows Users:
1.Download the Certificate from the link above or click Download this right here.
2.Open the file that downloaded it should be called com.r3000.server.servlets.system.cer
3.You will see a box similar to this one shown below; click "Install Certificate".
4.Select "Place all certificates in the following store" as seen below:
5.Select "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" and press OK and then Next.
7.If this window pops up please select Yes:
Google will now work on Internet Explorer and Chrome on your windows machine. If you are using firefox please see the directions above as it is similar on Macs or PCs.
