With approximately 409 middle and high school students, LPMHS is a small public school with an abundance of opportunities. Eight Advanced Placement courses highlight a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, and programs in visual arts, music, and performing arts continue to thrive.
Small class sizes allow for close and productive relationships between students and teachers. Eighty-five percent of graduates move on to postsecondary education. Most students participate in athletic programs, honor societies, and community service clubs. A new senior project provides a capstone experience for graduating seniors.
