District Office

The Lake Placid Central School District serves the communities of Wilmington and Lake Placid, New York. Its Elementary, Middle and High schools, located in two buildings in Lake Placid, have a combined total of 700 students.

Lake Placid High School was recently named one of the top three schools in the North Country in terms of students' standardized tests scores and graduation rates over the past four years. The District is proud of this designation and is prepared to continue its tradition of excellence.
