The Lake Placid Central School District Board of Education and district administration would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who came out to vote on the 2022-2023 budget. Also, congratulations to the newly-elected board members Colleen Skufca and Ronald Briggs and to candidates Douglas Lansing and Beth Brunner for participating in the election process.
Our community continually demonstrates its unwavering commitment to educational excellence and dedication to our children. With the budget’s passage, the district can preserve and even enhance programmatic offerings and current staffing while operating under the state-mandated tax levy cap. The Board of Education and administration worked closely together to prepare a budget that upholds the quality LPCSD is known for while exercising fiscal prudence for all taxpayers.
Once again, thank you to all of the local residents who voted and demonstrated their support for the district’s 2022-2023 budget and Board of Education candidates. We are incredibly grateful for the community’s support.
